Oil markets rebound
LONDON — Oil prices rose on Tuesday after four consecutive sessions of declines as traders turned their attention to possible diplomatic discussions between the United States and Iran during the United Nations General Assembly.
Brent crude futures for November rose to about $101.63 per barrel during trading, while US West Texas Intermediate crude also advanced.
The movements reflect continuing uncertainty surrounding global oil supplies as geopolitical tensions affect several major producing regions.
